Day 365/365 "the very last picture of a YEARS WORTH"

365 days ago I started this project not knowing if I would ever finish it and here we are on day 365 out of 365.
A year has went by really fast & within the year a lot of good & bad things has happened. But I am glad to say while finishing the project it was very bitter sweet for me, but I got to finish it in Barranquilla colombia (south america).
I wanted today to represent the very first picture that I took that was with my friends In canada that night we gather together to watch "the hills season 5" As I wanted the picture to be related to the very first picture I took I also wanted it to represent Colombia, the people I've been with and the things we have done. Also having the picture be related to my day... At that here is my "Family" here in Colombia (Dan, Carlos, Me & Ale) -(at work today Ale noticed that the Men were both in Baby Blue shirts with Black pants... & us girls both in purple shirts with black pants) So after work today we went for a walk and I remembered that there was a store called "Olympica 365 days of discounts" I knew right away it had to be part of the picture it was sign. Everyday here in colombia I would find my self staring at the sign 365 and new it had to be part of the project. What better way to have today represent the VERY FIRST PICTURE (GROUP SHOT) and Also be related to the project & my day. Then having this group shot in front of the 365 sign on the 365th day of my project. After this picture we went out for dinner and just had a really nice night. I really love you guys you've made my stay here in Colombia so amazing! knowing I only have 20 Days left make my heart melt and bring tears to my eyes.

Day 364/365 "Christmas tree always makes me feel better"

The project is at its end, I can't believe how fast a year went by... here is the christmas tree in our apartment. The feeling of christmas and the decorations always make me feel so happy. Today was a very emotional day for me and some people at work knowing that my stay here is also coming to its end... Coming home and seeing this tree as i walk through the doors of the building put a smile on my face... Had to be part of the project...

Time is coming to an end. The end of Cartagena we left today. An end to this project and time is coming to an end for Colombia Soon I'll be back home... Today really enjoyed the beach with Dan & Ale. The building and beaches here are breath taking. Hopefully in the near future I will get a chance to come to Colombia and Cartagena again and see more of it.

Time is coming to an end. The end of Cartagena we left today. An end to this project and time is coming to an end for Colombia Soon I'll be back home... Today really enjoyed the beach with Dan & Ale. The building and beaches here are breath taking. Hopefully in the near future I will get a chance to come to Colombia and Cartagena again and see more of it.

After a long debate of staying or leaving. Dan, Ale and & stayed for another night in Cartagena, its to beautiful to leave. Thank God we did stay and got the same apartment room 1301 (13th floor) the view from here is incredible and we got very lucky to see the Fireworks from here. It was an amazing long weekend vacation.

Today is the American Thanks giving, what am I thankful for...Being here in colombia and getting a chance of a life time, and being HAPPY for the first time in a long time! Only 5 more days until the project is done...Then what should I do???? What a way to spend the last 5 days that I have left on the project in Colombia Cartagena for a little weekend vacation. This is the view from our apartment on the first night we spend here! I could live here forever with this beautiful night view...So peaceful, it brought tears to joy while looking over the city!

It was really really good. This picture came out funny because of the flash, But i love how we all look so happy. I love being with these people. Today was one the best days I've had in Barranquilla Colombia. Went to church with Carlitos and his family, they made me feel part of the family. So warm hearted and caring people. This is a picture that captures the beauty of the day and how music can change the way we feel. Carlitos playing the guitar singing "I can only imagine" in Spanish, must say like it way more in spanish then english. Today was truly a beautiful spiritual day and I'll be forever thankful and blessed because of it. Carlitos Thank you and your family for EVERYTHING! <3

Tonight after work some of us went to go eat "Salchipapas" (Fries, chicken, stake, and sausage's) After hearing about it for almost a month I had to go try it, and MAN WAS IT EVER SOOO GOOOD. DAMN YOU CAMILO!!! <3 I love you my Son! But momma Can not eat all this.... Then hearing Carlitos saying "man its like we are at the vatican with all these pappa's " we all died of laughter. it was really a great night. 15 more days until the FINALE...then what?? Today at work I got two notes one from two different people. It really made my day especially when one of the girls told me "I have a sister and I miss her and she is different. But I really wish you were my sister never met anyone so nice like you" I almost tear up it made me feel so good. "I'm your canadian sister." -Love you bella <3
It was a really nice day. <3 These notes I will keep forever, I made a family here in barranquilla colombia. I leave in about a month and I got really close to some people here I don't want to go. Love you all so much!
